Li Peh Island, Satun......beautiful island in Thailand

The weather is getting hotter now so it makes me want to go the the beach and have some activities. This post i want to introduce one of beautiful island in the south of Thailand, named "Li Peh Island, Satun ".

Li Peh Island is located in the area of Tarutao National Park. It is the first marine national park, and contains 51 islands that is praised as ASEAN's heritage.
and also be the home Urak Lawoi, the ancient folks. Li Peh island located near many other attractions: Adang-Rawi Island, Hin Ngam Island, Khai Island and etc

When the pioneer travelers reached the place, the roads were not as convenient as they are today. Those travelers were surprised with the greatness of nature and wanted to keep the place a secret, so that tourism would not come and destroy the beauty of the place that was then called Thailand's Maldives. After that, the secret was revealed, and the island started to be popularity. The white beach, the soft and warm sand, and the turquoise sea will make those who love the sea breeze and the sound of the waves overcome with the whole scenic. Also, you can see the seabed at the 2 meter depth and walk on 3 beaches that is said to be the paradise on the earth.

The best period to visit Li Peh Island is between November and April. Be prepare and ready to have fun at the beach.^^

Nowadays, many people are focusing more on their works, some people ignore about love and when they notice, everything is too late or they can't find any good person. That's why Dating agency occur. Korean have value about marriage. If people don't get marry, they believe that people haven't success even though, how much they have on their job.

Here , i would like to show you one of dating agency company in Thailand. The owner graduated Chemistry with honor from University of Imperial College but she decided to open "Dating Agency" under the name " MeetNLunch" providing first date for single people. She is also the first and only one person who qualifies to study" Matchmaking Institute" from US. She saw that almost 10 millions Thai people are single and also her friends so she began to study this business.

Her customers are people who age between 22-65 years old. The average age of men is around 30 plus and woman are almost 30 years old. She also have her own criteria who want to be her customer should meet the qualification such as at least got bachelor degree, well job positioning, good wealthy and good shape( in Thai standard minus the height(CM) with the weight(KG) in centimeter should not more than 110).
Many of her customers are very shy to dating with strangers or have negative thinking about blind date. To change the attitude is a first must to deal with them. Her company service is different from its competitor because she offer the free consultant before dating including makeover service, taking customers to buy some clothes and teaching how to behave when dating. She said that first impression is important.

She will arrange the dating for customer who match for each requiring and also arrange the restaurant by selecting based on the character of customers. After, dating , she will call to ask the feed back and if they are not satisfy , she will arrange new partner.
This service charge from 500 pounds depends on how often and luxury of the dating.
In addition, now she expand her business line to target to gays and lesbian people but using sub branding "MeetNLunch Fabulous"

Almost every retailers have launched their own brands product. As you will see on the shelf, owns brands product are putted beside national brands(general brands)sometimes they put in the better location to attract consumers to see and add own brands as consider choice. The retailers see an opportunity to increase their profit due to economic problems and others, people tend to have more aware of spending money and looking for more bargain so producing their own products and sell at lower price can give a lot of benefits to them such as more bargaining power over national brands, increase customer to their retailers because of lower price attraction and also give more choices to their customers. Normally, retailers will sell their own brands product at 10-30% cheaper than national brands. Why they can sell at that price?? because they don't need to pay for the marketing cost and they use basis product package .In addition, some of owns brands product have similar package to national brands which can make consumer confuse when they are shopping.
This create a big affect to national brands to change their strategy ,some of national brands reduce their margin in order to compete with retailers' own brands and motivate consumer to buy. As a result, some of national brands' manufacturer who cannot survive in this market change to be a manufacture to product retailers' own brands product.
This strategy generate much more benefit to retailers and also consumers but the most sufferer who face a lot of problem cannot be someone else except " national brand" Do you think is it fair to them??

Burger King Whopper!!

As you know,social media marketing becomes popular now. Many companies are using this technology to drive their business or put into their marketing strategy and recently, Burger King did it. They published one campaign by started with the video showing about Whoppervirgins are doing real people doing real taste tests. In this research, Burger King wants to know what people thinking about Whoper and compare the preference between Whopper and Big Mac. Moreover, in this video shows how people feel and the reaction to a new thing ,burger.They went to 3 places which are Greenland, Romania and Thailand where people never have experienced of eating any burgers before. I'm not surprise about Thailand because I know that some of Thai people who are the minority of Thailand and live in very far and far away on the mountain and they might not have Television but I quite wonder the others places because I think that expect Asia burgers seem to be a major food for all countries!!. ( I might miss understand something). Anyway, let's see this video....

In my opinion, this video is worth, I could feel that although we speak different language or having different cultures , sharing food can create friendship. Beside that I also felt that I am better like Whopper than before and this can create good image to Burger King as well.

After the video was published, they continually their campaign by entered in social network with the " Sacrifice 10 friends " application in Facebook. The idea of this application is to delete your 10 friends in Facebook friends list and then you will get a free whopper(only in USA).In addition,each time you remove someone, that action is broadcast to your news feed. Apparently, not a big deal to users so far, as more than 200,000 friends have already been sacrificed. This campaign had strong hit the market and they quickly went viral over the internet and market place but unfortunately, the application was shut down as quickly as it started by Facebook, citing privacy concerns.

However, many people criticize this application both in the positive and negative way. Some people said it's not really social aside from being able to share it, and the fact that it went viral. Truthfully, it's just an awesome marketing campaign.

Have u ever tried Thai food

Because now I am starving so I would like to talk about "food". I am sure that some of you might try Thai food before but many of my classmates never eat it. Actually, I wanna take all my friends to Thai restaurant but it’s very difficult so I’ll use this blog to promote Thai food to everyone.

Not only Thailand is a great place to visit but also Thai food is very popular in Asia, America or Europe. Thailand consists of 4 regions (North, Central, South and Northeast) which have difference in lifestyles, cultures, traditions, values, Thai accents and including difference in Food. Each of regions has their own style of food and taste because the using their local ingredients but all of them are really good!!!

I can say that Thai foods are very good for health. We usually put some herbs which can provide many benefit for health such as Lemon Grass: "Ta-khrai" in Thai .Therapeutic properties are as a diuretic, emmanagogue, antiflatulence, anti flu and antimicrobial agent.

Floating Market

I am sure that everyone love their own country and so do I.In my country,Thailand there are so many gorgeous places which I wanna share with you.
The first one is Floating Market, It is a market where you can get some foods,fruits including Thai dessert like every fresh market but the different thing is that this market is located along the canal and all merchants are selling their stuff by small boat.

This place is a ‘must-see’ destination and probably visited by nine out of every ten tourists who visit Thailand. Every morning, hundreds of boats crowd the market area. Most of them are paddled by women with picturesque straw hats. Visitors can find everything from vegetables and fruits to freshly-cooked noodle and souvenirs at this lively market.

Tip for trip
The best way of appreciating the floating market is to join it, to take a boat ride through the vendors to savour the smells and sounds as well as the sights. A little effort spent in getting away from the popular haunt and exploring along back canals is rewarded by other scenes of a traditional way of life that has scarcely changed over the years.

My name is Ya.Like i told you in my profile i come from Bangkok,Thailand. Some of you might not know where my country is or you might visit there before but i hope you will know more about Thailand from my blog. I came to UK to study master degree at Leeds met university for one year and now this is second semester which created blog is one of my module.
